I’m Sarah, busy mom to Drew (7), Dakota (5), and Dylan (10 months), wifey of 10 years to Jeremy, and a full-time first-grade teacher and nutrition coach! I have always loved exercising and being fit, but it wasn’t until after I got pregnant with our third child that I decided to focus on nutrition.

I have always thought of myself as an active person, in the gym 5-6 days a week. I loved to run and do spin class. I would lift the occasional weights. I would try whatever was the new diet craze: low carb, Whole 30, KETO, Paleo… you name it, I have probably tried it through some challenge. The diets always worked! I always lost some weight, but eventually, I would want to eat carbs again, eat some sweets, and have a potato! The weight came back, and sometimes more. Why would this keep happening???

I reached out to Jay in the Summer of 2020, and he helped me stay healthy during my pregnancy. I was super anxious and depressed during this time as well, teaching on Zoom and raising two small children during a pandemic, all while being pregnant. He reached out to me, even when I did not follow my plan, and checked on me. He coached me and never gave up on me. After I had our baby girl,I knew it was time to get to work and focus on myself. Jay helped me every step of the way. He helped me learn to eat to fuel my body and to stop undereating. I learned that carbs and fats are NOT the enemy. He helped me with what exercises I could do to drop the most fat without making me feel burned out. Over time, I started realizing I wanted to do this. I wanted to coach women and help them realize their worth!

Here I am today. I am here to tell you that YOU ARE WORTH IT! You deserve more energy, more sleep, a better sex drive! I want you to feel comfortable in your own skin, confident, and strong! I believe in this program because I AM this program. I AM every woman who has tried every fad diet and every exercise regimen to lose body fat and get lean. I am so passionate about this program, that I decided to become a Nutrition Coach so I can help women using the same tools I still use myself today. Just remember, you are worth it!

Certified Nutrition Coach

I am a mom of three boys and married for almost 14 years. I also have a 1.5-year-old chocolate lab who is my shadow and exercise buddy. I work full-time in higher education and am active in all of my kids’ activities. I know firsthand what it is like to be so busy, it’s easy to forget to take care of myself, but over the years have developed habits that allow me to achieve goals for myself as well as being present with my family. My goal as your Nutrition Coach is to connect with people who struggle with balancing life and teaching them how to navigate nutrition and lifestyle without sacrificing the joy they find in other areas of their life.

I have been an athlete since childhood. I played soccer, swimming, and eventually at age 14 found water polo which I fell in love with. I went on to play division one water polo at Arizona State where I majored in business and mass communications. I started my first diet at the age of 13. I was always a bigger kid and learned at a young age that “skinny” was a desired aesthetic for many and fell into that mindset, unfortunately. Throughout middle school, high school, college, and beyond, I had an incredibly unhealthy relationship with food that put me into a binge-restriction cycle. Over the past couple of years, I have done tremendous work on myself. The first focus was to learn to love myself and my body at every phase. The second, learning how to take care of myself and appropriately achieve the goals I have set for myself physically and aesthetically.

How did Jay and I come to meet you ask? We are fellow early risers and would come across each other at our gym in the early hours of the morning. I believe we first started crossing paths in 2019. It was obvious that our training styles were very similar. Once Jay started JS7 Coaching, I was invited to follow his page and quickly learned we both also share the same view on nutrition. It was his lovely wife, Leslie, who reached out to me to gauge my interest in helping other individuals like myself and she really chose a great day to ask because I immediately felt excited at the thought. My goal in working with Jay is to ensure women learn to love themselves and also achieve goals without sacrificing their health and well-being. You are worth your own self-love and recognizing that is the first step to living it.
